Syclone®

Newton has just launched our latest line of mini microcentrifuges! The new Syclone® mini microcentrifuges will join our family of SonicSpin™ Mini Centrifuges.

The Syclone® Mini Centrifuge is designed for the centrifugation of microcentrifuge tubes and PCR strips.

    • Quick release rotor system – no tools needed to exchange rotors
    • Electronic braking – Allows for more rapid deceleration, less waiting
    • Includes innovative dual safety lock lid
    • Higher speed rating (8,500 rpm/3,884 x g) than comparable models
    • Maximum capacity: 8 x 1.5/2.0 ml microtube (Standard rotor); 4 x 8 PCR Strip (Strip tube rotor)
    • Rubber coated base plate offers improved stability and reduced vibration

The unit features a quick-release rotor adapter (no tools required) that accommodates either an 8-Place tube or 4×8 PCR strip rotor.

The Syclone® Mini Centrifuge features a recessed rotor bowl for spill containment, an externally accessible fuse, and a rubber coated metal base plate for greater stability and reduced vibration. All units feature a worldwide voltage rating (100–240V).

The higher speed rating (8,500rpm/3,884rcf) allows users to spin samples more rapidly or be used in applications where greater g-force is required. To prevent accidental opening during operation, the Syclone® Mini Centrifuge is designed with an innovative dual safety lock lid mechanism that engages once the unit begins operation. To open, simply press the lid release button located on the front of the centrifuge.

The Syclone® Mini Centrifuge is supplied with

    1. Standard rotor for 8 x 1.5/2.0 ml microtube
    2. Stripe tube rotor for 4 x 8 PCR Strip
    3. 8 adapters (inserts) for 0.5 ml microtube
    4. 8 adapters (inserts) for 0.2 ml PCR tube
    5. Detachable power cord are also included with every unit.

All units feature a quick-release rotor adapter (no tools required) that accommodates either an 8-Place tube or 4 x 8 PCR strip rotor.

An on/off switch is located on the side of the SonicSpin™ Series Mini Centrifuge for starting and stopping operation. Alternatively, with the switch in the “on” position, the centrifuge can be started and stopped by closing and opening the lid.

SonicSpin® III Digital Mini Centrifuge

The SonicSpin® III Digital Mini Centrifuge is designed for the convenience of centrifugation of microcentrifuge tubes and PCR strips at the same time with the Multi-Rotor. The Multi-Rotor can hold 12 x 1.5/2ml microtubes and 4 x 8 PCR tubes, and Strip- Rotor can hold 4 (12X0.2ml) PCR tubes with a maximum speed of 12000rpm. SonicSpin® III Digital Mini Centrifuge unparalleled centrifugal capacity,  high versatility and flexible performance make it an ideal personal microcentrifuge in every lab.
